3D scanning: objects, places and reverse engineering

We capture the real geometry of an object or a place for preservation, reproduction, archiving or virtual reality.

Scanning techniques

Photogrammetry: 3D reconstruction from photo series, ideal for textured objects, artworks and full scenes.

Laser scanning: precise laser surveys of objects, capturing shapes and details faithfully.

Reverse engineering

You have a part but no drawing? We scan it and rebuild it in parametric CAD, ready to be modified, documented or manufactured again, by 3D printing or any other process. See our 3D design & modelling service.

Heritage and museums

Digitisation of artworks, statues and historical objects for preservation, study, virtual exhibition or faithful reproduction. Models can then be reproduced at any scale in 3D printing with finishing. See the Museums & heritage industry.

Deliverables

Depending on your need: 3D mesh (STL, OBJ…) with or without textures, rebuilt CAD model (STEP), virtual-reality assets, documented archive files. Resolution and format are adapted to the final use.

Related services

3D scanning naturally chains with 3D printing to reproduce the scanned object, and 3D design to turn a survey into a usable drawing.
